Brad is MD and founder of Strategically People Ltd, a provider of outsourced strategic HR and OD services and consulting.  He is also a Senior Associate with Advanced Workplace Associates (AWA), delivering innovative, integrated and evidence-based workplace transition strategies. 

Previously, Brad was Director of People, OD & Workplace at the CIPD – the professional body for HR and people development. With a career spanning retail banking and professional associations, he has helped organisations achieve their purpose and strategic goals through attracting, developing and retaining talented and engaged people. 

Brad worked with Barclays Plc in its retail banking and wealth management arms before moving into HR in 2000 in International Banking Services. He later worked with the bank’s central HR team in recruitment & assessment, learning & development and employee relations at its head office in Canary Wharf.

At CIMA, Brad led HR and talent development for the UK, Africa and Asia. He developed the global people strategy and co-led the cultural integration of the joint venture between CIMA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He was also Programme Director of CIMA’s workplace transformation programme, which saw the organisation relocate to its modern, agile head office in Moorgate utilising collaborative technology and working practices. 

At the CIPD, Brad led the professional body’s own HR, OD and Workplace teams, applying the latest thinking and research from the CIPD to the organisation’s own internal culture, capability and performance. He shaped the HR function as a strategic business partner and was instrumental in the development of its leadership capability, organisational resilience and high level of employee engagement.

Brad is experienced in strategy formation, organisational culture and development, talent acquisition, change programmes, business growth, joint ventures, employee relations and workplace transformation. He has facilitated team development workshops and coached leaders in attaining higher levels of personal resilience, self-differentiation and leadership effectiveness. He is a passionate about helping people and organisations to achieve transformational growth.

Brad holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Kingston University and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
