Lateral flow tests

We will ask everyone attending on site - attendees, staff and suppliers - to take a lateral flow test prior to attending the event however we will not enforce this.

Masks - attendees

We will ask attendees to wear masks in busy spaces or confined areas but will not police this or seek to enforce it.

Masks - suppliers

As for attendees, we will ask suppliers, including hotel staff, to wear masks in busy spaces or confined areas but will not seek to enforce this.

Proof of vaccination

We will not ask to see any vaccination cards or verification on the NHS Track and Trace app.

Checking in to venues using the NHS Track and Trace app

This is the responsibility of the venue rather than HMG as event organisers and we will follow their policy on this. We expect that most venues will ask for this, but will not seek to enforce it.

Social distancing

We will not require any specific social distancing, either when moving around the venue or in seating arrangements. We will however ask that attendees are mindful that others may wish to maintain some distancing in one to one contact.

Hand shaking and other personal contacts

We will ask all attendees to be mindful of the fact that other people may not wish to shake hands. We will ask exhibitors and sponsors to consider this in relation to handouts and other give-aways on the exhibition floor.

Hygiene and cleaning

We will check general cleaning arrangements with the venue. We will ensure that hand sanitiser is available around the venue for attendees to use.

Traffic management

We will seek to manage traffic flows in order to avoid crowding in any particular area. This will be tailored based on attendee numbers and individual venues but may include staggering timings/announcements and/or providing multiple coffee stations/registration desks etc.
