Jamila Lecky

Group Reward Consultant , Mott MacDonald

Jamila Lecky, MCIPD is a chartered HR professional experienced in global reward and organisational change management. Jamila was the recipient of the 2022 CIPD People Management Student of the year - Advanced level award for the work she did in leading the global change management for Mott MacDonald's new HCM system. Now as a reward specialist, Jamila is driving the employee-owned Mott MacDonald's global reward strategy, within this relatively newly formed function.

An alum of the University of Surrey, where she achieved her degree in Business Management, Jamila gained experience in the UK & European retailing sector, working for Tesco, New Look and M&Co, before joining Mott MacDonald, an engineering and project management consultancy, in 2017, marking a career change into HR.

With a personal interest in employee motivation and engagement, Jamila has written papers on work-life balance and the use of bonuses as employee motivators. In addition, Jamila is also a voluntary member of the Steering Committee for the Workplace Fertility Community, which aims to promote and raise awareness of the need for appropriate fertility support and benefits for employees.
